Hatari Lodge
Arusha National Park, where Hatari Lodge can be found, is home to wild, animal-filled landscapes and is located at the base of the snow-capped Mount Meru.
Hatari Lodge is located in an acacia woodland on the northern border of the national park, between two protruding mountains: Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, a 14,980ft dormant volcano.
To unwind after the day's adventures, go to Hatari, where you'll discover a resort with a Hollywood history. This African property was meticulously renovated into a small bush lodge and named after the John Wayne classic Hatari!, which was shot in the region in the 1960s.
The three villas are decorated in a typical Swahili coastal style and are named after the elephant, buffalo, and giraffe that wander Arusha National Park. One of the three brand new, spacious villas with a breathtaking view of Mounts Meru and Kilimanjaro is perfect for families and bigger parties.
The nine deluxe standard rooms have a colourful and eclectic assortment of pillows, throws, and rugs crafted from indigenous Kenyan fabrics, as well as handprinted-style wallpaper dotted with beautiful wall art by regional artisans. Each room has a cosy open fire to enjoy during the colder months.
