Semuliki Safari Lodge

Semliki offers its guests a feeling of seclusion and intimacy. There will be no more than eighteen guests, but they promise each one will be treated like royalty and enjoy the time of their lives.
The guest tents are a rich gold colour, and the floors are polished wood. Private facilities with hot showers and flush toilets are included in each tent, as is a robust thatched roof to keep the tents dry.

Every African trip should include a night spent under the stars camping out. Before the wind or rain really hits your face, you may feel their presence. Nonetheless, even this isn't exactly slum conditions.
A hot drink of your choice is brought to you in bed or on your veranda each morning so that you can enjoy the quiet moments before you begin your day.

The riverine woodlands that cut through the savanna have been sculpted into long, twisting trails, offering tourists with a variety of options for taking a walk in the great outdoors.

The lodge had a role in starting research on the Savana chimpanzees of Semliki, and this research is currently continuing. Having the chance to chat with the research team at the lodge about their projects and progress is quite exciting.
