&Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge
&Beyond Lake The Manyara Tree Inn The park’s eponymous lodge is situated in the centre of a mahogany forest in Manyara National Park.
The park’s eponymous lodge is situated in the centre of Manyara National Park, in the midst of a mahogany forest. The lodge, situated in the park’s southwest corner, was designed to have as minimal impact on the natural environment as possible.
Visitors may go on a private, informative safari in the park’s wild, game-filled area. Because of its tranquilly, this resort is a great place to start or end a safari. Less traffic means more time to enjoy the peaceful, restorative ambience of the lodge’s wooded surroundings.
Elephants regularly roam past the treehouse apartments’ decks, contributing to the romantic atmosphere of these lodgings. These nine stilted treehouse apartments were constructed from local wood and makuti palm fronds and are nestled in the branches of ancient mahogany trees. They provide a sophisticated blend of intimacy and romance in private, exclusive, and shaded quarters. Each suite-style room in the treehouse includes a large patio that is elevated several feet above the ground.
The contrast between the clarity of the lake and the imposingness of the escarpment allows for the observation of stunning sunsets and sunrises here. After the park closes, only visitors and automobiles are allowed. View the flamingos in all their pastel splendour or enjoy a private sunset’s golden rays. Get up early to have a cup of coffee by the lake as the first light breaks through the night and the woodlands come to life.
