Serengeti National Park
This Park straddles the border of Kenya and Tanzania since it is positioned in northern Tanzania and southwestern Kenya. The Serengeti ecosystem comprises of a number of game reserves and conservation areas, in total it is about 1200 square miles ( 30,000 square kilometres. This vast land thus was appropriately named "Serengeti" by the Masai which means endless plains
This park was voted as the best park in the world by trip advisor in March 2021.
With over 3000 lions, the park has the biggest populations of lions in Tanzania. the country with over 8170 lions which is the biggest for any country in Africa, as of September 2019
